As you will be aware the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) replaced the IG Toolkit from April 2018. Completed assessments for the Data Security and Protection Toolkit are due to be published by 31 March 2019.

We wanted to highlight a few resources that can help organisations complete their DSPT and ask that you share them within your networks and encourage your partner organisations to register and complete their DSPT:

·         Proformas and policies for smaller organisations (these have been developed for social care but are suitable for health and care organisations). https://www.careprovideralliance.org.uk/data-security-and-protection-toolkit.html

·         Once you have logged in to your toolkit assessment, you can download a spreadsheet of your assessment which can be used to review and track progress.  This is available from the progress dashboards and reports page.
